The 63rd Teachers’ Day celebrations of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay was held online on September 06, 2021 in view of the ongoing pandemic. Professor K VijayRaghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. IIT Bombay Director Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri presented the ‘Prof. S. P. Sukhatme Award for Excellence in Teaching’ and ‘Dr. P.K. Patwardhan Technology Development Award - 2020’ to selected faculty members and ‘Institute Academic Prizes’ to students. The awardees expressed their gratitude to the Institute through video messages. The Institute also launched a Faculty Handbook during the virtual event. The online function was attended by faculty, staff members and students.
