A book discussion (Pustak Charcha) was organized under the joint aegis of Hindi Cell and Electronic Theses and Dissertation Central Library at IIT Bombay on January 25, 2024. The Book discussion was on 'Manas Ka Hans' novel written by Amritlal Nagar. The program started with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Ranjit Kumar Das, Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade) conducted the program. Dr. Vinod Kumar Prasad, Senior Assistant Registrar introduced this novel to the audience and Shri Raju Kumar Shaw, Administrative Superintendent (Hindi Translator) introduced the author.

During this discussion, Prof. Nandkishore, Dean (Administrative Affairs) delivered the presidential address and Prof. S. V Kulkarni, former Dean (Administrative Affairs) briefed about the Goswami Tulsidas and congratulated for this event and inspired us to maintain the study culture. Also, on this occasion, Prof. Ashutosh Kumar, Department of Bio-Sciences and Bio-engineering; Shri Ajay Prasad, Deputy Registrar Accounts Section; Chief Guest Prof. Sachin Gapat, Mumbai University; Ms. Vaishali Bahulkar, Hindi Officer and Mr. Anmol Jain, General Secretary, Academic Affairs participated in the discussion. It was a very exciting event and the audience also enjoyed it a lot. Ms. Vaishali Bahulkar proposed the vote of thanks.
