The 2024 edition of Mood Indigo, Asia's largest college cultural festival, took place on December 25-26 at IIT Bombay. The campus transformed into a vibrant celebration of colors and traditions.
Themed 'Enigma of Ethnicity’, day 1 of the event featured comedian Harsh Gujral, actor Sonu Sood and singer Stebin Ben unveiling new song of their upcoming movie Fateh, with a spectacular concert by Armaan Malik and an opening act by Chai Met Toast.
Day 2 was filled with competitions, workshops like Paint with Puppies and Bhangra and standout performances. Comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath, singer-songwriter Sanjeeta Bhattacharya and musical genius Amit Trivedi enthralled the audience at the International Music Festival shared.
Adding to the excitement, the Talk Show Panel featuring versatile actor Aparshakti Khurana brought wit, charm and engaging conversations to the audience. The day culminated in a thrilling Raftaar Concert, featuring Karaan Kanchan and surprise guest musical icon Shekher, along with budding artist 99side from MTV Hustle.
The Nightlife Zone buzzed with activities like Silent Disco, Bonfire Sessions, Open Mic Nights and Speed Dating, while the Indigo Flea showcased handmade crafts and performances. Intense competitions like Mantra Semi-Finals (Battle of the Bands), Mi-Idols Semi-Finals (Hindi Solo Singing), ThirdBell Finals (Stage Play) and Aagaz Finals (Street Play) showcased exceptional talent. Creative brilliance shone through events such as Turn-It-To-Art Finals (Junk Art) and Vogue (Fashion Design Modelling).
With record-breaking participation, Mood Indigo 2024 solidified its place as a cultural phenomenon, leaving everyone excited for Mood Indigo 2025.
