Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility (SAIF), IIT Bombay houses a variety of major analytical instruments that are operated and maintained by a dedicated and qualified group of scientists and engineers. It is an integral part of IIT Bombay and operates with an "open access policy".
At IIT Bombay, high-end equipment and state-of-the-art laboratories are an integral part of research infrastructure needed to support research activities at the Institute. A number of these facilities are open to researchers outside IIT Bombay as well.
