This talk aims to encourage open and constructive dialogue on critical issues such as gender safety and fostering respectful campus. The event will underline positive and sensitive attitude towards gender issues.

About Ms. Sneha Khandekar:
Sneha Khandekar is an experienced development sector professional with over 36 years of experience on violence and reproductive health issues related to women and children. She has over 20 years of experience advising government, public and private sector clients in the implementation of the Vishakha guidelines and subsequently POSH Act, 2013.

About Ms. Smita Waigankar:
A senior researcher at the Centre for Urban Policy and Governance - Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Ms. Waingankar’s core research areas are urban governance, gendered governance, policy research and advocacy. Currently, she is the Programme Co-ordinator for the PG Diploma in Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Health (WASH), which is based at the Center for Water Policy and Governance, TISS Mumbai. She has worked closely with the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, State Information Commission, State Women Commission and NGOs. She was the Governing Board Member at IIM Nagpur, Managing Committee Member of the Indian Institute of Workers Education, Mumbai.
