Prof. Debojit Sarkar, Department of Physics, has been appointed as a member of the Physics Board and as a Convener of one of the largest physics groups in ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research).
