Industry and academia are two important forces that are capable of catalysing constructive change in the nation. Together the two can bring about sustainable development in the country. To this end, the Department of Energy Science and Engineering organises an annual event, Energy Day, to familiarize the industry and society with the current state of energy technology research going on in DESE. The event seeks to introduce research students of the department to the energy industry with their research topics, to further the relationship between them. Energy Day comprises of oral and poster presentations by the students of the department. Furthermore, energy day also seeks to provide a platform for identifying potential research areas relevant to the industry, and technology transfer. Energy Day is being organised on 4th May 2019.
