Admission for M.A. by Research Programmes (2025-26) - Autumn Semester
The H&SS department at IIT Bombay introduced the MA by Research (MA.Res) in the academic year 2022-2023 with an emphasis on what is broadly called 'research' skills that are important not only in academia but also in the workplace. These skills include learning to integrate diverse sources of information, learning to read, think, and write critically, and learning to apply conceptual, analytical, and methodological frameworks. The entrance exam for this course is GATE.
Admissions are possible in full-time or part-time.
The details of PG/Ph.D. admissions (AY 2025-26) will be displayed on or after 19th March 2025.
